About Candace
Candace wears a lot of hats! She is a seasoned marketing professional, consultant, public speaker, entrepreneur and now she's adding children's book author to the shelf. Of all the hats she wears, the most important are "wife" and "mom". Candace lives in New Jersey with her husband Frank and 2 beautiful daughters, Aria and Cadence (who you get to meet in this series). Her life mission is to help women of color thrive, starting with the 2 little girls she's raising who will become successful, self-confident women one day. Epic Adventures is part of that mission! Candace found that there were very few books portraying little black girls as heroes and with Aria's help , she set out to change that.
